The suite was ideal, included central heating, multi-channel television, and coffee/tea making machines. There was a great selection of food for breakfast, it was good. The staff were pleasant, favourable and lovely location to the royal parks.

We found the staff to be rude and unhelpful. The cleanliness of the room was sub-standard, there were holes in the towels, and cigarette burns in the curtains. The hotel did not live up to its description as per the website. Breakfast was budget cereal and juice and some egg and cheese. We were never greeted by any of the hotel staff. The overall price of the hotel was far too expensive, for what we paid we expected much much better service.

Location
Breakfast was supposed to be from 8-10am in the weekends but it turned out 07:30-09:30. We arrived at 09:25 but the door was already shut!!

The location was very good and the price was great. I would have given a really good review of the hotel but we came home with bed bug bites and so I cannot recommend it to anyone.
We got home and my boyfriend is covered in bed bug bites. We were in room 103 and I strongly suggest you treat this room for bed bugs so that nobody else has to be bitten. Now I am worried in case we brought any back with us. It is a shame because I otherwise really liked the hotel, but please deal with the bed bug problem!!!

Although the accommodations lacked at least the staff was nice enough to change out the dirty, old, blanket that was full of hair on our bed, once we requested the change. The old, yellow, stained shower curtain was changed out while we were there as well, and we didnt have to request it :) The bathroom was clean in our ensuite. The location is a block away from Queens way main street with restaurants.
We are a couple in our 30's and well traveled. Here is my opinion: The entrance was run down and lacked invitation for the price. Girl behind desk was sullen and could care less if we booked the hotel. The room was #404 and was on the 7th floor of very steep stairs. No lift. Usually we wouldnt care but his was a little much after walking all over london for 3 days. The room was so small that we dint have have any place to put one of the backpacks. The bedspread was old and smelt. The blanket on our bed was old and had back hair all over our sheets- we are both blonde. The curtains we torn and raggedy. The floor was stained and gross. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was ok. You can toast your bread, hard boiled eggs overcooked, and the juices were powder drinks and so watered down. Not worth the money and listen to the other reviews!

The Palace offers an excellent location, being close to two tube stations and various shops and dining options. The staff were responsive to my inquiries. Room cleaning was consistently performed to a satisfactory standard, contributing positively to my overall experience.
The reception process was disorganized, causing delays, and the room showed signs of neglect.

Excellent value for money for the Bayswater area. Room was a large size and very clean, reception staff were friendly and helpful and included breakfast was good value for being included in room price.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my family, had an enjoyable stay. The room was brand-new & compact, came with decent shower, a bathroom plus a kettle. The location was excellent and amazing - walking distance to eateries and restaurants. Good access everywhere as the train station was near the hotel.
The bathroom was very old.
